The report you get, on a made-up company. Every tab is open: the action plan, the drafted pages, what buyers ask, who AI recommends instead, and whether AI can read the site.
We ran it on ourselves.
Wellread’s audit of its own website, 8 October 2026. The site was 10 days old, and AI named us in 0 of 24 answers where buyers asked for options. This is our starting line.
One of the 30 questions, as Gemini answered it
“Best software to track AI search engine recommendations”
Software designed to track how AI engines (like ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude, and Google AI Overviews) mention, cite, and recommend your brand falls into the category of Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) or Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) tracking tools.
It recommended Peec AI first and named 5 more companies. Not Wellread. First on our plan: get mentioned on the pages these answers read, and write the page that answers this question. Read our own audit

Your buyers ask AI. Find out what it answers.
The audit asks ChatGPT and Gemini what your buyers ask, the way they ask it, and shows you the answers.
We read your website
The pages AI assistants can read, and whether anything stops them. From that, we work out what you sell and who buys it.
You check what we understood
Your name, what you sell and the questions, before anything is asked. Change what we got wrong.
We ask ChatGPT and Gemini
What your buyers ask, in their words and without your company’s name, so we see whether AI brings you up on its own.
You get the verdict and what to do
Who AI recommends instead of you, the changes to make first, and your most important pages drafted.
You audit again
After your changes, the same questions are asked again, so you see what they did.
Honest numbers. A to‑do list, not a dashboard.
Every figure in the report can be traced to the answers behind it. Open any question and read what ChatGPT and Gemini said.
One number, defined
“Named in 3 of 16 answers where buyers asked for options.” Not a visibility score you can’t check.
Questions that never name you
We ask what your buyers ask, in their words and without your name, so AI has to bring you up on its own.
Rivals you confirm
Your rivals are the companies the answers named, never a guess. You choose which of them count. A rival the question itself names isn’t counted.
Does your site answer it?
For every buyer question, whether a page on your site answers it, with the words it uses.
Then see what moved.
Make the changes, publish the pages, and audit again. The same questions, asked again: the report shows what moved, answer by answer.
Not every answer moves, and an answer can move for reasons other than your changes: a second audit shows what moved, not what caused it. A subscription runs one every week by itself, and whenever you change something.
Start free.
Your first audit costs nothing and needs no card. A subscription is for what comes after: seeing whether your changes worked.

Yours to keep: the report stays open
No second audit, so you can’t see what moved after your changes
Yes. Your first audit is free, with no card, and its report is yours to keep. A subscription runs new audits, so you can see what moved after your changes. An audit that doesn’t finish doesn’t count.
What does it cost after that?
$50 a month until 31 December 2026, then $100, for 1 website: 12 audits every 30 days, a re-audit every week, and up to 10 people. You can cancel at any time.
Which AI assistants do you check?
ChatGPT and Gemini, through their APIs with web search on. Answers in their apps can differ with each person’s history, settings and location.
Where do the questions come from?
We read your website, work out who your buyers are, and write the questions they ask, without your company’s name. You can add your own questions too.
Why might my results differ from what I see in ChatGPT?
AI answers change from one run to the next, and by place. The audit asks each question once, as a buyer would, so treat it as a snapshot and audit again after you make changes. How we measure has the details.
Do you write the pages for me?
We draft them. The audit recommends the pages your site is missing; Wellread writes each one from your own pages, in your words, and marks anything they don’t say for you to fill in, like a price or a figure. You check it, fill it in and publish it. Your free audit drafts its 2 most important pages; a subscription drafts any of them.
Do you change anything on my website?
No. We only read your public pages, the way AI crawlers do, and we never publish anything for you.
What happens to my data?
We keep your reports and the public page text we read, for your workspace. Signing in with Google shares only your name and email. The privacy policy has the details.
